Bill Clinton and Hillary Rodham Clinton’s daughter Chelsea Clinton married on last Saturday evening with investment banker Marc Mezvinsky.

Chelsea and Marc wedding ceremony was take place at Astor Courts, surrounded by family and their close friends,” the Clintons said. “We could not have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate the beginning of their life together, and we are so happy to welcome Marc into our family. On behalf of the newlyweds, we want to give special thanks to the people of Rhinebeck for welcoming us and to everyone for their well-wishes on this special day.”

Chelsea Clinton, wearing a Vera Wang strapless white gown with a full skirt and silver beading around the waist and carrying a bouquet of white flowers, was escorted down the aisle by her father. The former president and the groom wore dark suits, while the mother of the bride wore a fuchsia dress by Oscar de la Renta.

For the reception, the bride changed into a silk tulle Grecian gown, also by Wang, that crisscrossed in the back and had a narrow black grosgrain belt.

The event was the culmination of weeks of secrecy and buildup that drew onlookers to the small village of Rhinebeck, 90 miles (145 kilometers) north of New York City.

The ceremony was conducted by a rabbi and a reverend as Chelsea Clinton is Methodist and Mezvinsky is Jewish, and included a poem by Leo Marks titled, “The Life That I Have,” according to the family.

Celebrities spotted in Rhinebeck for the event included famous actors, Democratic National Committee Members and some close family friends and relatives.

Chelsea Clinton and Mezvinsky were friends as teenagers in Washington, and both attended Stanford University. They now live in New York, where Mezvinsky works at G3 Capital, a Manhattan hedge fund. Mezvinsky worked before at Goldman Sachs as an investment banker.

Clinton completed her master’s degree in public health earlier this year at the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University.

Mezvinsky is a son of former US Reps. Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky of Pennsylvania and Ed Mezvinsky of Iowa, longtime friends of the Clintons. His parents are divorced.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Pepsi Cola International launched a talent hunt programme with the name ‘Pepsi Cricket Activation’.  Joint press conference by PCB and Pepsi Cola officials concluded that the main mission of this programme is to select talented cricketers from all over the country. The PCB represent by Intikhab Alam and Wasim Bari whereas Khurram Koraishy represent Pepsi Cola.

The spokesperson for the Pepsi Cola said that many talented young boys may never get a chance to get selected for the national cricket team due to lack of opportunities. “For these young talented boys of Pakistan, Pepsi and PCB are launching this training programme where each and every boy, whether he belongs to any province or any city in Pakistan, will get a fair chance for getting short listed for being trained at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) and eventually for the Pakistan cricket team.”

In the first stage of the programme, the tryouts will be held across Pakistan in which more than 100 cities will be covered: from Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, FATA to Swabi, Turbat and Dadu. Boy’s who are under 16 years of age will get a chance to prove his determination and selected by PCB’s qualified coaches and selectors. The selected individuals will then be grouped into 12 teams (11 regional and one FATA teams) and a regional tournament will be held surrounded by the most talented youth of the country. From this tournament, top 25 will be selected for rigorous training section at different level and if they remain performing well they will get a chance to get selected for the Under-19 team.

The Miss Pakistan World pageant established by Sonia Ahmed, the basic purpose of Pageout is to bring young Pakistani women from around the world to participate for what could be considered the most controversial crown in the pageant world.

World pageant attracted 55 delegates from around the world to Beijing, China as well as the world finals took place in Zhangjiajie City which is located on the northwestern border of Hunan Province.

In her previous pageants, she is also befriended Miss Israel and made sure that she sent a message of peace and love to her and her countrymen from Pakistan. She made sure that all nations that were present there saw Pakistan through her eyes.

Beauty of the World was a pageant Ayesha Gilani was ready for as she wanted to bring Pakistan at a higher step of success. Competing with 55 nations, she won the continental title of Beauty of Asia 2010 in Qindao, China. Pakistan’s 7 year history of beauty pageants had just another title to its addition. For Ayesha Gilani this is her win for her country- Pakistan, as Beauty of Asia 2010.

Yesterday Lahore High Court ordered to block the most famous social networking website www.facebook.com as a protest against Draw Mohammad Day, and today PTA has passed a new order according to which www.youtube.com is restricted in Pakistan and it will remain restricted till the next orders come from the PTA. This order has been issued incorporation with PPC (Pakistan Penal Code). Along with facebook and youtube PTA has banned 450 other websites which contain inappropriate content.

Pakistani people believe that this strong protest will bring quick and good results. There are also some sms circulating that till now they have suffered a loss of 2Billion Euros.

Whenever someone try to open youtube it says “This site is restricted” as shown in image below.
